Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: 22 October 2026
The short version.
- You can cancel any time. Cancelling stops future billing. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- We don’t give refunds, including for unused time, except for billing errors and other valid reasons you tell us about (listed below).
- If we permanently take away a marketplace or main feature of your plan, you can cancel and we refund the unused part of what you paid.
- To ask for a refund, email flipsift@gmail.com within 30 days of the charge.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to every FlipSift subscription, monthly or yearly, however you paid.
Free trials
If you started a 7-day free trial, cancel before it ends and you are not charged. If you don’t cancel, your plan starts when the trial ends and the first payment is taken; from then on this policy applies to it like any other payment. Forgetting to cancel a trial is not, by itself, a reason for a refund.
1. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, online and right away, in any of these ways:
- From your dashboard. Open Billing & cancel on your dashboard; it takes you to your Whop membership page, where you can cancel.
- Without signing in. Our shows how, with no sign-in and nothing new to agree to.
- From Whop. Your Whop receipt email links to the same page, and you can also cancel from your Whop account.
- By email. Email flipsift@gmail.com from the address on your account and ask us to cancel. We’ll confirm by email.
On a yearly plan we email you a reminder before each renewal with the price and how to cancel.
What cancelling does:
- It stops all future charges. Your subscription won’t renew.
- It doesn’t refund anything you’ve already paid, and doesn’t give a partial or prorated refund for the rest of the current period.
- You keep full access to your plan until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. After that, your monitors stop and alerts end.
- To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before your renewal date. A cancellation takes effect from the moment we or the payment processor receive it; it doesn’t reverse a renewal charge that has already been taken, unless that charge is a billing error as described below.
- Turning off alert emails, or simply not using the Service, does not cancel your subscription.
2. Our refund policy
All payments are non-refundable, except as described in section 3. In particular, we don’t give refunds or credits for:
- the unused part of a monthly or yearly period after you cancel, including yearly plans canceled early;
- forgetting to cancel before a renewal;
- not using the Service, or using it less than you expected;
- changing your mind, or no longer needing the Service;
- not finding deals, not finding deals in your area, or not making a profit;
- problems with a listing, a seller or a purchase — for example an item that was already sold, misdescribed, counterfeit or a scam (take these up with the seller and the marketplace);
- short or occasional delays, missed alerts, or a marketplace being slow or temporarily unavailable, which the Terms explain can happen;
- downgrading to a cheaper plan partway through a period; or
- an account we closed because the Terms were broken.
3. When we do give refunds
a) Billing errors
If we or our payment processor charged you in error, we’ll refund the amount charged in error. Billing errors include:
- being charged twice for the same period (a duplicate charge);
- being charged the wrong amount, or for a plan you didn’t choose;
- being charged for a renewal after your cancellation had already taken effect; and
- a charge you didn’t authorize at all (for example, a subscription started with your card by someone else). We may ask you to report this to your card issuer as well.
b) Other valid reasons
If something else has gone wrong and you believe a refund is fair, email us and tell us about it. We review every request individually and in good faith, and we decide whether to refund, and whether in full or in part, at our reasonable discretion. Examples of situations we would normally treat as valid:
- the Service was substantially unavailable to you for a large part of a billing period because of a problem on our side;
- a main feature of your plan, as described on the pricing page when you subscribed, didn’t work for you at all, you told us, and we couldn’t fix it within a reasonable time; or
- you were charged for a period you couldn’t use because we closed your account by mistake.
These are examples, not a complete list, and not a promise that any particular request will be approved. A refund we give as a goodwill gesture doesn’t commit us to giving one again.
Always refunded: if a marketplace included in your plan becomes permanently unavailable to the Service, or we remove a main feature of your plan, we’ll tell you; you can cancel, and we’ll refund the unused part of the period you’ve paid for, monthly or yearly. The same applies if we close your account for any reason other than you breaking the Terms or not paying. A marketplace being slow, incomplete or temporarily unavailable isn’t a reason for a refund (see the Terms).
c) Your legal rights
Some consumer laws give rights to a refund or to cancel that a contract can’t take away (for example, some state laws on automatic renewals). Where those rights apply to you, nothing in this policy limits them.
4. How to ask for a refund
Email flipsift@gmail.com within 30 days of the charge, from the email address on your account if you can, and include:
- the email address on your FlipSift account;
- the date and amount of the charge (a receipt or screenshot helps);
- which reason from section 3 applies, and what happened; and
- anything that supports it — for example, a screenshot of a duplicate charge.
We aim to reply within 3 business days. We may ask for more information to confirm the request is from the account holder. Requests made after 30 days are only considered for billing errors you couldn’t reasonably have noticed sooner.
5. How refunds are paid
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, through the payment processor you paid with. We can’t refund to a different card or account.
- Once we’ve issued it, a refund usually appears within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- A refund may be for the full charge or part of it — for a billing error, it is the amount charged in error.
- If we refund a charge for the current period, we may end your access for that period.
6. Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — we can usually sort out a genuine problem faster. If you file a chargeback or payment dispute, we may pause your account while it is open, and we’ll give the payment processor the information it asks for about your subscription and use of the Service. If a chargeback is filed for a charge that was valid under this policy, we may close the account.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version in effect on the date of a charge applies to that charge. For material changes, we’ll email you at least 14 days before they take effect.
